Big Game Drag Glove, TM Hi Dean:
It's Kevin Reese here (from the POMA Conference). Man, I've got to say your
gloves are awesome! I've been so busy that I hadn't been able to make it
to a stand but I refused to miss opening weekend of our deer archery
season down here in Texas. As luck would have it, the deer changed up on
me but a sounder of hogs came in to my setup and I parked the largest
of the group in the tow-away zone. She did not go far but as usual, and
customary with hogs, she went into the thickest crud a person can fight
their way through. I hate that they go in there because although
dragging long distance isn't a problem, dragging through those dense
briars, vines and other foliage can just plain wear you out!
Well,
about 45 minutes after I shot the hog, I pulled my Big Game Drag Gloves
out of my fanny pack and got down out of the stand to begin tracking
blood. It didn't take long but again she was in a heck of a spot, tons
of briars, vines adn everything else I hate to walk, crawl and drag
through. I fed the web strapping around the legs and pulled the gloves
through end-loops, put them on and I was on my way! Typically, here in
Texas, dragging doesn't come without sweating. It was so incredibly for
my grip not to slip due to sweat' heck, once I had the gloves on I
didn't even have to hold on to anything. Another point worth mentioning,
is that after a bit of time my fingers normally begin to stiffen up,
not a problem using your Big Game Drag Gloves! After my experience on
Saturday night, dragging that big ol' hog out of the thick stuff, I will
never be without your Big Game Drag Gloves again! Expect a solid
review from me and I'll send you a digital tear-sheet.
Thanks a ton for inventing a product that every hunter needs and pricing that doesn't break this blue-collared bowhunter's bank!
BTW,
I thought the picture would be better but it was pretty dark. I layed
them over the hind-quarter. I'll try to get a better picture with your
gloves on my next animal. Lord knows there will be more pictures!
Kindest regards,
Kevin Reese
