Big Game Drag Glove, TM
We have been using these Drag Gloves in Hunting Camps for 4 years. We have two patents on this product. The Drag Gloves are perfect for Big Game. I was tired of trying to hold onto Deer, Elk and Antelope
by their ears, legs and head. I was tired of gripping rope, belts, rope with hay
hooks etc... The first thing that we loose when trying to move Big Game is our
grip. Our grip limits the amount of strength we can use when moving Big Game. We
are all much stronger than our grip. The nice thing about the Drag Gloves is the
strap is sewn to the glove. When you begin to pull an animal with our Drag
Gloves you will instantly notice two things. The leverage you gain when pulling
an animal and the strap does not gouge or pinch your hands. Using this method of
dragging big game allows you to use all of your body strength when pulling an
animal. You are not gripping the strap so your hands do not become tired. You
are not trying to hold up legs or a head, so your back, arms and body do not
tire as quickly. The animals legs and or neck and head become an extension of
the drag gloves so you can pull the animal in a straight line or any direction
you want. We hunt the Gunnison area for Deer and Elk. We all know when you put
down an animal in dark timber or in the sage, the next step is the hardest one.
Now we have to get that animal through the dead fall in the dark timber or up
and over the sage. We hunt the old Sodiquest Ranch by Powderhorn and Huntsman
Mesa. We may have to drag an animal half a mile just to get to an ATV. This is
when the Drag gloves really pay for themselves. The use of the Drag Gloves as a
tool does not stop there. Once we do reach an ATV we can loop the Drag Gloves
over the ATV hitch and continue to drag the animal to camp. When we reach the
camp we can put a piece of wood through the Drag Glove loops or use a Gambrel
with the Drag Glove loops to hoist the animal into a tree for skinning and
cooling. When it is time to go home, we lower the animals, put on the Drag
Gloves and pull the animals into the truck or trailers. (If you are pulling Deer
you can jerk them into the back of the truck like a sack of grain.) When we get
home we will pull the animals off the truck with the Drag Gloves. Attach the
Gambrel's back to the Drag Gloves and hang our game in the shed to prepare them
to be cut and wrapped. When we are done with cutting and wrapping our meat we
will lower the carcasses. Use the Drag Gloves to put them back in the truck and
take the carcasses back to the woods for the critters to finish them off. From
the time we knock down an animal to the time we drop of the carcasses every
animal in our camp will have at least one pair of Drag Gloves on it. It is a
very useful tool and with a MSRP of $14.99 the Drag Gloves are very affordable.
