i shoot a fred bear element 70lb draw weight with beman mtx microdiameter 400 arrows with rage 2-blade broadheads
what all do you have and how much?
I'm currently looking at the Bowtech S.W.A.T. or the Hoyt Alphamax as a replacement for the old High Country I've had for years. It's time to upgrade. As for accessories and arrows, I have no idea what to go with yet.
Hi everyone. Anyone using bowcamtreecam? Your thoughts. Thanks
Im shooting a Bowtech Guardian 72lbs. truglo pendulum, easton epic st 340 arrows and muzzy-mx3 and thunderheads 100gr.
Ive been shooting a Mathews switch back for the last 4 years just havent shot anything that is that much better to justify spending the money, Love the way it shoots, 64lbs @ 30" draw shooting venom 4000 480 grain arrows with 125 grain shuttle T lock broad heads, its not the latest and greatest but it'll get the job done, I love archery hunting but I havent been able to do it as much as I would like due to work schedule but maybe next year,
I just joined the local archery club so Ive been learning a lot and shooting alot more than I used to so its fanned the fire so to speak so I think next year Ill be an all out archery hunter again.
Im out west and have pins out to 70yds but mainly just for 3D shoots, I dont see myself shooting at any game that far, just because a lot can happen in that distance and Im not shooting the fastest bow so 50 yds is my max range for game
Great add to the discussions look forward to checking in on this in the future.
One piece of equipment I always bring is my bowcamtreecam. It helps me get footage of my shots, so I can replay then to determine my tracking timing. It has a place to store my rope, with my favourite scent. I have lots of video footage which lasts me all year, so I have no down time anymore. I love it.
This is what I roll with Bowtech patriot equipped with extreme sights and quik tune drop away rest with carbon express arrows and rage 2 blade 100 grain broadhead .
I am using a Martin Jaguar Recurve with a 50# pull. Have yet to get anything with it but I just got it for Christmas
I shoot a Hoyt Katera 70#, VaporTrail String/Cable, Trophy Taker Pronghorn rest, Fuse stabilizer, Fuse quiver, Spot Hogg Right On wrapped sight, Carbon Express Maxima Hunter 350's, Battledrum wraps, Firenocks, and Wasp Jak-Hammer SST broadheads.
Ive only shot hoyts. Currently i shoot a hoyt powerhawk with a HHA single pin sight set at 72# upgrading next month to the hoyt maxxis or alpha burner. Arrows are easton 400 with blazers and crimson tallon broad heads
My husband bought me a pink camo bow not sure really what kind. Don't really care about brand names. I am not that kinda girl I love that it fits me perfectly and shoots good. I do have a roll ball realease and it is the only thing I can shoot with and be consistant. My release in combo with my kisser button puts me on point every time.
