I have a CVA Kodiak. I love shooting my muzzleloader and it takes preference in the woods during gun season. I shot a doe yestarday and my friends son tracked his first ever deer. I stayed back as I already new where the doe was. Father and son ventured in after the doe and I thought this was so cool. I loved being able to put Cody on the tracking job. I shot the doe with 90 grains, Triple Seven, 250 grain Shock Wave Bullet. It is a tack driver also.

The new inlines are so much better than the ol traditionals I think that each state needs to have seperate seasons for the two muzzle loaders, I personally shoot a tradional but have the urge to purchase a new inline but Im afraid that if I do the ol Hawkins will be gathering dust in the safe forever. Like in CO we have an early rifle season that could be the inline muzzle loader season and leave the muzz season that is in the middle of archery season to the traditional guys, I know it sounds selfish but the new inlines are shooting 250 yds accurately, once I get past 150 with the ol traditional its a no shoot situation. I think it would even the playing field for the traditional guys and maybe make both hunts smaller for a better experience and less crowded. Just my .02 whats yers
