Thats not bad. I'm still waiting for my homestate to send me copies of my hunters safety certificate since it was misplaced within the last two or so moves which I was gone for one of. When does rifle season open on the Missouri side?

Its about 150 miles down there...2.5 hours or so. I think last tags I bought was around 170 for the season.

I am currently stationed at Fort Leavenworth Kansas and am looking for a place or places to hunt deer or pig. I have the necessary gear, plus some. I have hunted small game and varmits since I was little and messed around doing some deer hunting. I am a responsible shooter and hunter. I wouldn't mind some hunting mentorship also, since everytime that I have gone deer hunting I haven't gotten anything.

Well Im back from KS, Great time with great people, I didnt kill anything, but a buddy and my little brother both tagged out, 2 bucks and 1 doe in total, Poaching is becomming a big problem around where we hunt from what the locals were telling us and we didnt see the caliber of bucks we usually see hopefully they get it under control, Heard rumors of 3 different bunches of poachers being caught 2 of the groups had 10 heads and one group was caught with almost 30 heads, Its really discouraging hearing that sort of thing is going on where you hunt. Ill post pics as soon as I get settled back in just thought Id chime in, BTW I did miss a good buck last thursday probablly 155 to 160 oh well he will be bigger next year if the poachers dont get him first, Little brothers deer was a super old freak, typical 6 point with an extra pedestal but the horn was broken off and just a freaky 7 point on the left not sure if it was genetic or an old injury when he was younger, this deer is by far the oldest buck we have taken in the last 4 years just guessing 6-7 years old, grey faced, scared up, no fat, worn down teeth, warrior.
