I have a litter of extremely well bred GSP pups that will be available in two weeks. At this time there are 2 males and 4 females still available. I have another litter that is due any day now. I also have a male German wirehair adult that has some training and has been hunted but still needs worked with. Tell me what you got to trade either hunts or equipment. Pics and pedigree info available if interested.

Question regarding the male wirehair. How old is he and what are you asking for him? Do you have any pictures of him.
The male is about 3 years old. I got him from a friend of mine down around Ft. Worth that has changed jobs and can't hunt due to his schedule. As a year old dog, he got approximately 3-4 months of training and was hunted pretty extensively that winter on pheasants in TX and KS. He was also hauled to NM for quail. Last year he only hunted him once. He listens well, and really wants to please. LIke most wirehairs, he takes awhile to warm up to you, but once he does he's extremely loyal. He is really a one man dog. I have a big kennel and numerous dogs in training. This situation is not the best on this dog. He needs to be where it's him and another dog or two. He runs himself ragged in my situation. He's a bigger dog, real long legged, but not heavy. I have messed around with him on some pigeons and he knows what he's supposed to be doing. He needs worked on whoa some more and needs more retrieve work done. He's tough enough mentally to be force fetched trained. All and all he is very typical of the wirehairs that I have owned and still run in my gude string. They develop a little slower and a little later in life. This dog's light is just starting to come on. If you will send me your email address, I have a couple of pics of the dog and can get some more. He's current on his vaccinations and is registered with a very nice pedigree. He is intact. I am asking 950.00 for the dog. I feel this is fair as I usually sell my GWP pups for 850.00
I have Aoudad Sheep and White Tail on my place near Del Rio, if you're interested. I sure would like a good hunting dog. Preferably male.
Very interested in the female GSH, please let me know prices and pedigree. robdinger81@att.net
I noticed that you live in Amarillo, I have recently relocated to Amarillo and I'm just now getting into hunting. I grew up around bird dogs but living in the city I was busy with team sports and fishing and never got into hunting until recently. As I said earlier I am very interested in your GSH as well as any pointers about hunting in the area.
ROb, I just got your email. I have a few dogs for sale right now, but the are all males that are fully trained and ready to hunt. They aren't cheap, but they are dang nice dogs. I have been putting paying clients behind them if that will let you know the caliber of dogs that they are. Feel free to call me at 679-2810, or reply to rafterjk1@yahoo.com. I'll get the email quicker that way. I am heading out tonight to rum some mule deer hunts and then have clients in for pheasant opener on Sat-Sun. If you hear of anyone looking, I have a couple of opening on some real inexpensive mule deer hunts.
