I don't mean to be short about your question and those are some great trophies to take. I hope you will be blessed and reach your goal. My trophies are anything I shoot. I like mainly whitetail deer and turkeys so, My go would be to take a 170 class deer and to grand slam in on turkeys. My ultimate go is to reach men for Christ! Anyone here can visit my website and sign up for our hunt giveaway for the Eastern turkey in Bentleyville, Pennslyvania. How about that we don't even have to trade on this one!

No, thats not short at all, I really didnt mean it like you took it, I wouldn't say goals, ect, just dreams ect. if I get one of those that I mentioned it would be a dream come true, I was just woundering what other members hunt and strive for, I will probably never get 2 of the above mentioned trophies but those goals are what keeps me going out year after year day after day. I too think the trophy is in the eye of the beholder and anything I shoot is special and a trophy, I just was curious what if any record book animal you could shoot what would it be.

As far as reaching any of my goals, I give all the glory to God and accept him as my personal savior, Im glad to know there will be so many outdoorsmen and women there when Im called home God bless you and yours.

I also feel truly blessed to know that I when I go home, I will be surrounded by so many fellow outdoorsmen and women. Have both of you joined the group Hunters for Christ? We would love to have you and I post a Scripture of the Day there. I am with both of you about the trophies that my Father in Heaven has provided me with. Each and everyone of them is a Blessing and should be treated as so. Nothing bothers me more than to see fellow hunters waste the nourishment that God has provided for us because of what they call a trophy. Don't waste the meat because of the horns, someone out there could use it if you dont want it. Hunters for the Hungry.

May God bless us with many more years of hunting.

Thanks for the encouragement Bill, I am in the hunters for Christ group, and have enjoyed it thanks for keeping up with the scripture or verse of the day, I dont always get to read it that day but always try to catch up, Thanks again and God Bless you and yours.

I tell you what, my goals keep changing. I dont like to put up goals that are too crazy but I remember when my goal was to kill any whitetail buck. Then kill one with a bow. my most recent goal was to kill a P&Y deer. Now I'd have to say im lookin for 140's or more with a Bow, 150's Gun. I;d love to put down a booner but honestly I want to kill the #1 Archery buck in Ohio one year. Thats probably my all time goal.

I would love to kill the grand slam of NA sheep, but will never have the $ for a desert. So here's to luck (and preference points!)...

Yea I hear ya on the $ deal, thats why this site is so great who knows maybe one day we will see some cool trades for some expensive hunts that normally we wouldn't be able to afford, that or play power ball I know if I had the money God wouldn't of made me so good looking ; )

I like to try to set goals each year. Hopefully as I progress in life and my career I'll have the opportunity to expand on my hunting options and goals. This year I'm aiming for a P&Y whitetail. They dont get huge where I hunt so if I pull it off, I'll be the happiest guy in the woods for a week or so. Plus in a one buck county, you get one shot. If you dont make it you have to wait till next year.
