Hey Chip, I'm actually from Durham and moved down here for school at UNCW. Back home, we had a nice piece of land to hunt on but sold it a year and a half or so ago. Now, I don't really even have anywhere to shoot. I can go to Southport to "Ye old gun club," where they have a 500 yard range, but other than that I haven't found anywhere nice to shoot. That costs $20 per person to shoot for a day, and with what ammunition is costing these days, it hardly makes since to spend a day down there. Do you have any recommendations as to where to shoot around here? What do you hunt? I shoot a .308 and a 12 gauge and have been interested in duck hunting since I moved down here, but am not really familiar enough with the area.
