I would recommend drawing for a 2nd or 3rd season deer tag and when you draw just come out and buy an over the counter bull tag, even good quality areas take 3-4-5-6-7 points to draw for deer where the opportunity and trophy quality are there for Non Residents especially if you will not have a lot of time to scout the area, Id be willing to help you out or even trade a hunt for a hunt if your interested let me know.

Sure Id be glad to help you out, What season are you wanting to hunt and do you have any preference points for CO, Deer licences are 100% draw but there are a few units you can draw with no points but most take atleast 1, Archery elk and 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons are over the counter but you will have to draw for Muzzle loader 1st and 4th rifle seasons. Also what caliber of animals are you looking for.

I went out a few times and saw a few small bucks and a nice 8 pointer. only one doe with two cute little fawns, didn't have the heart. Bow seaeson opens up onthe 1 st of Oct. He called us Sunday eve. It sure was good hearing his voice again. He said it was more intense than he expected,lost 6 pounds and got a nice black eye through it all. Hey Keith Its 12 30 here and just brought our 18 yr old Tyler home from oral surgeon. he had all four wisdom teeth extracted this morning,,ouch!! I almost had to carry him into the house.
