Any one know where I can hunt hogs in the Lubbock area? After we kill hogs, is there a butcher that will cut and wrap and give it to a shelter or food bank for a reasonable fee?

If they are so bad in Texas and other states why are people not giving there address or posting ads for people to come and rid a few. Things cant be that bad or they would not charge us northerners fees to kill them! Thanks

The war on hogs is like that war on drugs, we aint gonna win. They need to have a bounty on them in every county in the state. Me and my hunting partners take eradicate hundreds of hogs a year with the dogs and we dont make a dent. Every year we catch more and more hogs because there are more and more out there. Van Zandt county, where I hunt alot, had a bounty on them at $7 a ear many years ago but they aint had one in a long time. The bounty is going to have to be large enough for people to start hunting full time. Lucky for us doggers and trappers the meat market is comin back and live hog prices are going up (all based on European economy). Puts a little extra money in my pocket :)

Like the article and would love to do my part to eradicate these animals just tell me when and where, ill even bring the ammo and liquid refreshments.
