Have 160 acres in Carlton Al. When Tombigbee floods in winter,we have from 200-300 deer per day coming through our place.(no joke)maybe more some years.Killed some really nice bucks 2008-9 season.however last season me,some freinds and family had an even better season killing and seeing nice bucks.These deer are migrating, coming out of the river swamp for miles so we have to time their arrival.I let kids shoot about anything legal but adults shoot only mature deer.On a sat. morning it might sound almost like a dove shoot on the land around us.Most of the bucks score around 100 up to 125 or maybe 130.A family freind did kill a 13 pt. several years ago which scored 160 and went into Alabama Whitetail Records.Anyway, I would be interested in trading for a midwest deer hunt,western mulie or elk hunt or turkeys almost anywhere!(my favorite!) The Lord has blessed us with Hunting opportunities and I love to see other folks enjoy it as well.We hunt food plots out of shooting houses and shooting lanes/travel corridors out of ladder stands, lock-ons and climbing stands.If anyone has any ideas let me know.Also, me and my wife own a house on Wolf bay in OrangeBeach Al. with a 200 ft. pier.I inshore fish for speckled trout,flounder,white trout,redfish, sheepshead etc. .pier has lights on end and fishing at night is pretty good if one is interested.
