Strange how some native Texas plants didn't tolerate the freeze we had in the area at the beginning of January.
Lantana, Esparanza, and Fire bush all froze out. Pulled them out from front of house to make way for new plants that will go in this Spring.
In other outdoor news, the backyard has officially become a registered nature conservancy sight!
This is great news to me as both a hunter and conservationist, becuase I believe that you can't have one without the other. I'll have to dig through my photos and post some of the backyard.
